The table above covers the past ten days and shows the daily mean departure from normal of temperatures at the stations listed.
The mean temperture is determined by taking the high and low for the day, adding them together, and dividing by 2.
The average departure from normal is determined by taking the mean for each of the ten days, summing those up, then dividing the sum by 10.

The daily record high and low temperatures are based on data from the commencement of official observations to the present. The commencement of official observation dates are as follows: DFW Airport=1898; Waco Regional Airport=1901; Austin-Mabry=1897; Austin-Bergstrom=1943; San Antonio=1886; and College Station=1890. In some cases, the station data originated under a different station name than the one currently in use. For example, the record data for the Austin-Camp Mabry site utilizes data originally taken at the Robert Mueller Municipal Airport (until it closed). That site was located immediately east of IH-35 between Airport Blvd. and 51st Street.
